Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) is a charming Bollywood romantic comedy set in the small town of Bareilly. The story follows Bitti Mishra (Kriti Sanon), a free-spirited and independent young woman who refuses to conform to societal norms. After a disagreement with her parents about marriage, she stumbles upon a book titled Bareilly Ki Barfi, in which she sees herself reflected in the protagonist. As Bitti falls for the book’s ‘author,’ Chirag orchestrates a scheme to present Pritam as an undesirable suitor, hoping she will choose him instead. However, Pritam’s unexpected transformation into a bold and flamboyant personality complicates things, leading to humorous and heartwarming moments.
